Biafine Emulsion Large Tube Cream 186g

 

Biafine Cutaneous Emulsion cream 186g, is a protective and soothing emulsion used in the treatment of burns, uninfected superficial wounds and redness after radiotherapy.

Formula created in 1971 and marketed since 1976. In case of erythema secondary to radiotherapy or second degree burns it is essential to consult your doctor.

 Indicated for:

- 1st and 2nd degree burns
- Sunburns
- Traumatic and surgical wounds
- Protection of Radiotherapy

 For second-degree burns and other skin wounds, a consultation with your doctor is necessary.

After cleansing the wound, apply a thick layer extending well beyond the surface of the lesion and renew the applications to always maintain an excess of emulsion on the lesion.

 Instructions for use:

1st degree burns and solar erythema

Apply in thick layer every 10 minutes until skin rejection. Make penetrate the last layer by light massage. Repeat the treatment while the sensation of heat persists.

 2nd Degree Burns and Miscellaneous Wounds

Always use Biafine according to medical advice, applying the emulsion in a thick layer and exceeding the surface of the lesion. When a dressing is necessary. Apply an emulsion layer 1 cm thick. Do not use dry or absorbent dressings; Moisten the compressor that contacts the emulsion.

 Radiotherapy treatments

For at least the 10 days preceding the first session of radiotherapy, apply the emulsion every day in the morning, midday and afternoon, massaging it over and around the area to be treated.

Three hours at least, before each session, make an application ensuring a total penetration; after the session make two applications spaced with gentle massage. In the periods between sessions, do three daily applications with gentle massage.

 After the last radiotherapy session, do three daily applications over several weeks or even months, as prescribed by a doctor.

 Composition:

active substances
Trolamine: 0.670 g
Per 100 g emulsion for topical application.

 Excipients

 Ethylene glycol stearate, stearic acid, cetyl palmitate, solid paraffin, light liquid paraffin, perhydorsqualene, avocado oil, propylene glycol, sodium alginate and trolamine, potassium sorbate, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219), for sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate (E217), Campania flavor, purified water.
